Services
While home elevators were once seen as a luxury item, today’s home elevators are much more of a necessity. With our aging population, the use of a home elevator for mobility and moving large objects is now the norm in multi-level construction. The home elevator can provide a safe, customizable, and convenient way to get between floors with capacities of 1000 lbs. and cab sizes from 15 square feet up.
Whether you’re looking at new construction or retrofitting an existing home, you’re looking for craftsmanship and long-term quality. Abbey Home Elevator can provide both. As an exclusive provider for Symmetry Elevating Solutions, all our elevators are custom-built, designed and made in America. The people who designed our residential elevators are members of the National Association of Elevator Contractors, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Better Business Bureau, the Associated Contractors and other industry organizations. With our commitment to beautiful craftsmanship, expert engineering, thoughtful construction, and affordability, Abbey Home Elevators will give you the very best product and customer service.
Installation
Great elevator performance starts with precision installations. Each installation has its own project scope to best fit each home’s design. Because of this, we encourage our prospective customers to set an appointment to visit our showroom. You will be able to view the elevator cab designs and actually operate the products we service and sell. During your visit, we can discuss your application, the space into which your elevator will be installed, and best determine your needs.
Service & Maintenance
We service most brands of stair lifts, residential elevators, commercial LULA elevators, and wheelchair lifts. Every elevator and lift we install has layers of protection built into its design which require routine service, testing, and inspection to ensure they work when you need them to. Our technical professionals are established experts in our field, utilizing some of the most advanced diagnostic tools and training in the industry. We are also at the forefront of state and national code requirements for elevator and lift maintenance, ensuring your equipment remains safe and compliant.
Safety
All our technicians are Certified Elevator Techicians (CET), Certified Accessibility Technicians (CAT), or working on their certifications through the National Association of Elevator Contractors (NAEC). We’re actively involved in our industry and meet continuing educational and licensing requirements each year. Staying up-to-date on new safety requirements and code changes helps us to ensure your vertical transportation equipment is code compliant and reliable.
